E-REDES installs two new transformer substations in Esposende

An investment of 110,000 euros will strengthen the quality of service in the municipality.

E-REDES has installed two new transformer substations (PTD) in the parishes of Forjães and the Union of Parishes of Apúlia and Fão in the municipality of Esposende.

The works, with an investment of around 110,000 euros, will strengthen the quality of service in the area, provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, as well as guaranteeing the availability of power to respond to new requests for electricity in the areas in question.

The infrastructures with a combined power of 880 kVA and Medium Voltage (MV) branches 1500 meters long, which are already in operation, were inaugurated on January 10 in the presence of Benjamim Pereira, Mayor of Esposende, Francisco Campilho, Miguel Pinto, Samuel Batista and Fábio Costa, representatives of E-REDES, and the executive of the Forjães Parish Council, Vitor Quintão and the Apúlia and Fão Parish Council, Valdemar Faria.

The low voltage (LV) network in the area was reinforced over an approximate length of 250 meters, which involved the installation/replacement of 4 LV supports, and resulted in better network management.

This work, carried out in close collaboration with the municipality of Esposende, is part of E-REDES' policy of optimizing quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the company's commitment to the municipality.
