Sustainable Procurement
At E-REDES we believe that sustainable development is essential for the future of the planet. That is why, in our supply chain, we choose and collaborate with partners who share our values and sustainability commitments.
Global and integrated management
Learn about the four stages of the procurement process:
1. Strategic Procurement
Strategic Procurement begins with identifying the need to procure a good or service. After market analysis steps — consultation, proposal, examination of proposals, and negotiation — we conclude the procedure with the award and subsequent procurement.
2. Transactional Procurement
Transactional Procurement is the management of requests and purchase orders for placing orders under existing contracts. This process also includes monitoring and overseeing deliveries from suppliers to speed them up.
3. Treasury
Treasury involves the receipt, discussion, approval, and payment of invoices, carried out in accordance with the payment system established within Business Units, in each geography.
4. Report
The reporting of the EDP Group's procurement activity is based on transversal and integrated information systems at a global level, the main objectives of which are to consolidate information, generate management information and analyse performance levels.
