E-REDES will be present at the XXV Congress of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP), which will take place on December 11 and 12, at the Parque de Feiras e Exposições in Aveiro.
During the two days of the fair, the Company will have the opportunity to demonstrate some of the most impactful and innovative projects, developed in order to raise efficiency and service quality to levels of excellence. Examples are:
- LiveGrid: interactive system, which ensures real-time monitoring of occurrences, allowing a clear and detailed visibility of the current situation of the National Distribution Network;
- PREDIS: using powerful machine learning algorithms, the platform can estimate the electricity consumption of customers and producers for the following days, in order to adjust the grid power to the needs;
- E-Connection Journey: created with the goal of giving the customer global visibility of the entire life cycle of a connection to the distribution network, through the E-REDES website.
- Field Force Remote Support: an app that facilitates the end-to-end digitalization of the journey of the teams in the field, who daily deliver energy to more than six million customers.
- Municipalities' Reserved Area: an exclusive area on the E-REDES website for communication between municipalities and the Company, through which any local authority can make its requests quickly and easily, consult the main partners and access the most relevant documents for its concession.
- Mobile Power Plant: mobile infrastructure that ensures the supply of energy to customers, with all the necessary technical and safety conditions.
As an Operator of the High and Medium Voltage Distribution Grids, whose grantor is the State, and of Low Voltage, through the 278 municipal concessions, its mission is to guarantee the supply of electricity to all consumers, with quality, safety and efficiency, through the planning, development, management and conservation of the electricity distribution grid, without neglecting the provision, in an impartial manner, of differentiating services to all agents in the sector.
E-REDES thus has a fundamental role in the modernization and automation of the National Distribution Network (RND), in order to make it increasingly robust, flexible and efficient. As an intelligent energy company at the forefront of technology, it has the capacity to ensure the continuous supply of electricity, to monitor and manage, in real time, the state of the grid, the respective energy and information flows, through balanced management between consumption and generation, ensuring high standards of service quality.
