E-REDES remodelled a set of infrastructures in the city of Covilhã, as part of its Environmental Promotion - Landscape Integration of Aerial Networks program.
The intervention aimed the dismantling of 14 supports and 1.3 km of Medium Voltage (MV) lines, which crossed the main roadway, the Alameda Pêro da Covilhã, the remodeling of the surrounding network with the implementation of 3 new supports at the exit of the Tortosendo substation, some underground MV sections, the remodeling of 2 cabin Transforming Posts (PT) and the dismantling of 1 Aerial PT, which was located in a garden area.
The executed works represented an investment of about 140 thousand Euros.
The interventions were carried out by the service provider Bragalux, in coordination with E-REDES teams, thus promoting a better landscaping of the electrical infrastructure in the city and its green spaces, improving the quality of service in the area and reinforcing the capacity of the electrical network.
E-REDES thus continues to invest and innovate in the modernization of infrastructures, in order to optimize services and contribute to the development of the regions.
