Intelligent Networks - PIRRI Program

After about a year of work, the Implementation Program for the Regulation of Intelligent Network Services (PIRRI) has come to an end, fulfilling the goal of operationalizing what is defined in the Regulation of Intelligent Network Services (RSRI).

E-REDES makes available to the various stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers or other interested entities, a set of services that ensure greater availability of information, new features and services in the energy transition.

To date, approximately 29 thousand Distribution Transformer Controllers (DTC) and 3.5 million Intelligent Metering Equipment (EMI) have been installed, of which about 2.6 million already allow a number of remote services, such as collecting meter readings and contract changes, among other services, with significant benefit for customers and for the operation of the market. From the universe of installed EMIs, more than 1 million are already integrated into the Intelligent Network.
