These interventions are part of a set of projects that the company has in its investment plan, which aim to ensure the redundancy of the electricity grid and, thus, the reliability of power supply at CIRA.
Investments include the remodeling of approximately 14 km of Medium Voltage air network (MT), the upgrading and reinforcement of insulation of MT equipment at 27 Transformation Stations, which eliminates leakage currents and extends the useful life of infrastructure. minimizing grid disturbances.
In addition, 13 new Transformer Stations are planned, which will eliminate voltage drops, reduce energy losses in the electricity grid, ensure the availability of electricity for power increases and to new requests of new customers from the various CIRA municipalities.
Improvements to Low Voltage networks are also foreseen, and new customers connected by strengthening and renewing existing networks (totaling 18 km), applying current technologies, improving landscape and environmental integration and strengthening capacity and increased reliability.
