E-REDES has installed two new transformer substations (PTD) in the parishes of Rebordões de Souto and Sá (Souto) in the municipality of Ponte de Lima. The infrastructures with a combined power of 320 kVA and medium voltage (MV) branches of 500 meters in length, which are already in operation, were inaugurated on 8 October in the presence of Francisco Campilho, Miguel Pinto, Luís Torres, representatives of E-REDES, Carlos Lago, Ponte de Lima town councillor, António Amorim, president of the Rebordões de Souto parish council and Sílvio Martins, president of the Sá parish council.

The low-voltage (LV) network in the areas was reinforced over an approximate length of 3000 meters, resulting in better network management. The work, which represented an investment of around 135 thousand euros, will reinforce the quality of service in the area, provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, and guarantee the availability of power to meet new electricity demands for the areas in question.

For E-REDES, this work, carried out in close collaboration with the municipality of Ponte de Lima, is part of its policy of optimizing quality of service and energy efficiency, the result of the company's commitment to the municipality.
