E-REDES and Braga City Council improve conditions for occasional connections at Parque da Ponte in Braga

A 30,000 euro project will ensure greater safety for popular festivals on the site.

E-REDES, in partnership with Braga City Council, has carried out a Low Voltage Underground project to improve network management and safety conditions in the occasional connections at Parque da Ponte in Braga.

The work was carried out in 30 days and will enable the municipality to make the infrastructure available for the St John's Festival, the country's biggest popular festival, as well as for other events that may be held there. The infrastructure, which is already up and running, was symbolically inaugurated on 18 July in the presence of Francisco Campilho, Miguel Pinto and Samuel Batista, representatives of E-REDES, and Ricardo Rio, Mayor of Braga.

The work, which represented an investment of around 30,000 euros, will reinforce the quality of service in the area, provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, and guarantee the availability of power to meet new electricity demands for the areas in question.

For E-REDES, this work, carried out in close collaboration with the municipality of Braga, is part of its policy of optimising quality of service and energy efficiency, the result of the company's commitment to the municipality.
