E-REDES is one of the finalists in the 8th edition of the Portugal Digital Awards, a joint initiative between IDC Portugal and Axians, which rewards digital projects of excellence at national level. 

The Open Data project focuses on our aim of making data available to society. The data provided serves a heterogeneous set of stakeholders and topics associated with the electricity sector and the energy transition. We want to democratize and give everyone access to the data collected by the company, using technologies such as Cloud Computing and Big Data/Analytics.

The second finalist project, GridWise, offers an innovative approach to managing low-voltage (LV) electricity grids. This artificial intelligence, IoT and real-time data analysis application enables the dynamic adaptation of networks in a customized, high-performance solution. The following use cases are examples: Monitoring low-voltage circuits to detect faults that compromise the power supply; monitoring power quality parameters; monitoring the physical loss of the neutral conductor, among others.
