E-REDES has installed a new transformer substation (PTD) for the new Vila Real Aerodrome building.
The infrastructure, which is already in operation, has a power of 630 kVA and the Medium Voltage (MV) branch is 250 meters long. The low voltage (LV) network in the area was reinforced over an approximate length of 200 meters, resulting in better network management.
The work, which represented an investment of around 57,000 euros, will significantly improve the quality of service in the area, provide the grid with greater capacity and resilience, and also guarantee the availability of power to respond to new requests for electricity for the area and future expansions of the Vila Real Industrial Zone electricity grid.
For E-REDES, this procedure in close collaboration with the municipality of Vila Real is part of its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the company's commitment to the municipality.
