E-REDES invests 120 thousand euros in a new transformer station in Fafe

Investment in the parish of S.Gens reinforces the quality of service in the area

E-REDES installed a new transformer station (PTD) in the parish of S. Gens, on Rua da Barreira, in the municipality of Fafe.

The infrastructure, which is already in operation, has a power of 100 kVA and the Medium Voltage (MV) branch line is 1200 meters long.

The low voltage (LV) network in the area was reinforced in an approximate extension of 700 meters, involving the installation/replacement of 7 LV supports, thus resulting in better network management.

The work, which represented an investment of about 120 thousand euros, will significantly improve the quality of service in the area, will provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, and also ensures the availability of power to meet new demands for electricity to the area.

For E-REDES, this procedure in close collaboration with the municipality of Fafe fits into its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment that the company made with the municipality.
