E-REDES installs a new transformer station in Póvoa de Lanhoso

Investment of 40 thousand euros will reinforce the quality of service in the area in the parish of S. João de Rei.

The infrastructure, which is already in operation, has a power of 100 kVA and the Medium Voltage (MV) branch line is 20 meters long.

The low voltage (LV) network in the area was reinforced in an approximate extension of 600 meters, involving the installation/replacement of 7 LV supports, thus resulting in better network management.

The work, which represented an investment of about 40 thousand euros, will significantly improve the quality of service in the area, will provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, and also ensures the availability of power to meet new requests for electricity to the area.

For E-REDES, this procedure in close collaboration with the municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso fits into its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment that the company made with the municipality.
