Applications open for Merit Scholarships dedicated to future female engineers

An E-REDES initiative that aims to attract young women finalists of master's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, through allocating 12 merit scholarships worth 2 thousand euros each and more.

For E-REDES, the program thus aims to contribute to equal opportunities between men and women in access to professional careers in engineering areas and, at the same time, attract younger women to its staff, ensuring greater gender diversity and qualified resources to promote the energy transition.

The program, in this first edition, will cover five faculties:

  • Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa
  • Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto
  • Faculty of Sciences and Technology at the University of Coimbra
  • Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at the University of Aveiro
  • School of Engineering of the University of Minho
