E-REDES installs three new transformer stations in Vila Verde

An investment of 230 thousand euros will reinforce the quality of service in the municipality.

E-REDES installed three new transformer stations in the parishes of Escariz (São Mamede), Escariz (São Martinho) and Carreiras (São Miguel), in the municipality of Vila Verde.

The infrastructures, which are already in operation, have a combined power output of 450 kVA and the Medium Voltage (MV) branches are 2000 meters long.

The area's low voltage (LV) network was reinforced in an approximate extension of 1500 meters, implying the installation/replacement of 15 LV supports, thus resulting in better network management.

The works, which represented an investment of about 230 thousand euros, will significantly strengthen the quality of service in the parishes covered by the new infrastructure, will provide the network with greater capacity and resilience, and will also ensure the availability of power to meet new requests for electricity to the areas in question.

For E-REDES, this procedure in close collaboration with the municipality of Vila Verde fits into its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment that the company made to the municipality.
