E-REDES, in partnership with Monção City Council, has installed a new Transformer Station (PT) at Caldas Park, in Monção.
The intervention was developed in two phases:
- In a first phase, the alteration of the underground Medium Voltage (MV) network and the construction of a new PT were carried out;
- In a second phase, the work was completed with the construction of the Low Voltage (LV) network.
E-REDES was responsible for the execution of the works related to the improvement of the electrical network in the area, while the Municipality was in charge of the civil construction works (e.g.: earth moving of the PT installation site and opening/closing of trenches).
The work, which represented an investment of about 40 thousand euros by E-REDES and 30 thousand euros by the municipality, will reinforce the quality of service throughout the surrounding area, such as Caldas Park.
This procedure fits into our policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment that the company made with the municipality.
