With an investment of about 85 thousand euros, the campaign includes the replacement of 19 power transformers, 14 of which were installed by the end of April. The remaining will be replaced during May.
This programmed intervention resulted from the identification of the need to replace power transformers that have reached the end of their useful life cycle, with new equipment, with all the efficiency and safety features necessary to serve the local population and ensure the provision of a high-quality public service.
The works are being carried out in compliance with all safety standards, from the use of Personal Protective Equipment to the isolation of the network, the opening of arcs in the Medium Voltage overhead network and feeding the Low Voltage network using a generator, to maintain the continuity of electricity supply to customers.
This procedure fits into its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the company's commitment to the Municipality.
