E-REDES present at the International Day of Girls in ICT

An initiative promoted by the "Engineers for a Day" program that aims to draw girls into the fields of engineering and technology.

To mark the International Day of Girls in ICT, the event "Hands-on ICT! Engineering and Technology Laboratories", in Coimbra and Lisbon.

The event brought together schools, companies and higher education institutions to carry out practical activities in the areas of engineering and technology.

With the mission of contributing to raising girls' awareness about ICT career opportunities and breaking stereotypes, E-REDES prepared a set of activities for students to learn about the distribution business, allowing them to carry out three energy-related experiments (Electric Switch, Solar Energy, and Static Electricity) and a virtual trip through the electrical distribution network.
