This programmed intervention resulted from the need to replace the old distribution Transformer Station, which had reached the end of its useful life cycle, with new equipment, with all the efficiency and safety features required to serve the local population and ensure the provision of a high-quality public service.
The installation of the new Transformer Substation at Quinta da Marquesa, located in the parish of Quinta do Anjo, in Palmela, also involved the remodelling of the Medium and Low Voltage area and underground network, as well as the existing Public Lighting network in the area.
The work represented an investment of around 50 thousand euros, as part of its policy to optimize the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the company's commitment to the Municipality.
