E-REDES restructures electrical grid in Setúbal

Interventions represent an investment of around 80 thousand euros

E-REDES carried out two interventions to restructure the electrical network in the city of Setúbal. The first intervention concerns network reinforcement and the construction of a new low voltage (LV) branch line in the Setúbal Parish Union. This work consisted of the alteration of a 250 kVA power transformer to a 400 kVA transformer in an existing distribution transformer station and constructing a new LV underground branch line.

A second intervention took place at Praça do Brasil, where E-REDES' teams proceeded with the deviation of LV cables and other Medium Voltage (MV) technical assets.

The work was originated by a request from the Municipality of Setúbal, due to the construction of a new traffic circle at the site.

The investment in the two works was about 80 thousand euros.

For E-REDES, this procedure fits into its policy of optimizing the quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment that the Company made with the Municipality of Setúbal.
