E-REDES installs a new distribution transformer station in Setúbal

The work, with an investment of around 60 thousand euros, also involved the remodeling of two medium voltage lines.

E-REDES installed a new distribution transformer station (PTD) in the parish of Gambia, Pontes e Alto da Guerra, in the municipality of Setúbal. 

The new overhead infrastructure has a power of 250 kVA and is already in service. 

The Company's teams also restructured two other distribution transformer stations (DTP), diverted a Medium Voltage (MV) line and removed an old MV line and its supports over an extension of 230 meters. 

The investments involved in this restructuring, which will benefit the quality of service in the supply of energy in the area, were around 60 thousand Euros. 

E-REDES is the EDP Group company responsible for operating the electricity distribution network in Mainland Portugal, in Low (LV), Medium (MV) and High Voltage (HV).
