In the Best Future of Intelligence Project category, the distinction went to PREDIS, a project to optimize the management of the electricity grid and minimize losses, supported by machine learning algorithms, with the ability to daily forecast consumption and production for 100,000 points of the High and Medium Voltage network for the following 5 days, with a granularity of 30 minutes.
The Best Energy & Utilities Project was awarded to FIELD REMOTE SUPPORT, an end-to-end digitalization project to support the journey of operational teams in the field
Additionally, in the special Digital Grand Awards category, the president of E-REDES, Ferrari Careto, won the award for Best Digital Leader, for being the personality that most distinguished himself, nationally, in the area of digital transformation.
"In 2017, we started a great journey, within the EDP Group, to accelerate the adoption of digital in the Group, in all geographies. We developed more digital tools for customers, employees and the asset management system. A bet that has repercussions in the day-to-day lives of our teams, who are in the field every day, as well as in operations, and who deal with the use of digital tools in their activities," said José Ferrari Careto.
