EUniversal is a funded European innovation project led by E-REDES.
The project aims to develop a universal approach to the use of flexibility by Network Operators and interaction with the new Flexibility Markets, including the development of the Universal Market Enabling Interface (UMEI) concept - a set of application rules in different contexts and in different countries, which represents an innovative, agnostic, adaptable, modular and evolutionary approach that will be the basis for the development of new business approaches, market solutions and, above all, guaranteeing the mechanisms for active participation of Consumers.
As part of the work carried out by the team, new deliverables were recently approved by the European Commission, with the participation of E-REDES:
Deliverable 1.3 "Challenges and opportunities for electricity grids and markets"
- Analyses the recent and ongoing European policy and strategy that will shape the future electricity grid and markets.
- Challenges and opportunities for grids and markets are identified and discussed to provide high-level recommendations and contribute to the distribution system evolution.
Deliverable 10.1 - Business model canvas and comparison of CBA methodologies
- The deliverable analyses the current practice and trends in business models for flexibility markets and distribution network planning methodologies.
- In this document you will find i) a business model canvas analysis of the EUniversal demos and an evaluation of distribution planning methodologies in Europe.
