E-REDES is reinforcing the capacity of Lisbon's high-voltage electricity network in order to ensure a backup power supply to the western and central areas of the city, with high gains in service quality.
Due to the nature of the work, which involves laying electrical circuits underground, Madre Deus Street will be closed to traffic from 8pm this Friday, July 16th, until July 30th. Traffic will be diverted to Rua da Imprensa Nacional (upstream direction) and Rua do Arco a São Mamede (downstream direction).
The works will be monitored on-site by police authorities.
The normal operation of the electricity distribution network will be fully ensured during this intervention.
