E-REDES is committed to promoting sustainable mobility and the electrification of the vehicle fleet, in line with the targets set by the EDP Group.
Setúbal was the location chosen to implement the smart electric charging pilot project, and the initiative is expected to be extended to other buildings throughout 2021, this inauguration ceremony took place on July 2nd.
The São Sebastião building, in Setúbal, has a total of 20 charging points controlled by GreenFlux's smart charging platform, which is responsible for managing the charging points and dynamically adjusting the power provided to each electric vehicle, according to the available capacity in the charging circuit. In some E-REDES buildings, photovoltaic production systems are also installed, which contributes to increasing the power available for charging.
The GreenFlux smart charging platform includes an exclusive app for E-REDES employees, through which it is possible to visualize the charging network at a national level in all the Company's buildings and the availability of the respective chargers.
