The municipality of Vizela is one of the most recent examples of the collaboration between E-REDES and City Councils, with the aim of optimizing the quality and energy efficiency, which is intended to extend to the entire territory, gradually benefiting both urban and rural areas, in order to cover the entire national population.
This new partnership was recently marked near the FC Vizela Stadium, in a ceremony attended by the Mayor, the Presidents of Parish Councils and E-REDES, to mark the beginning of the LED 2021 Campaign in this municipality.
This campaign, an initiative of E-REDES, and with an enormous visual impact, represents a very significant contribution in the quality of service, with the placement of 680 luminaries of LED technology, representing a total investment of about 700 thousand Euros.
The municipality will benefit from this more efficient technology, presenting a saving in energy consumption per equipment installed, which is based on greater efficiency, durability of equipment and, above all, greater environmental sustainability.
For E- REDES and the Municipality of Vizela, this joint effort, in addition to a significant improvement in the levels of public lighting in the municipality, is also a strong contribution to environmental protection, with the inherent reduction of CO2 emissions and visual pollution.
