The interventions, carried out during the month of April and conducted by the Office of Civil Protection and Forests of the municipality of Monchique, involved the felling of twelve large eucalyptus trees in a weakened situation on Estrada da Foia, near the urbanization of Água Alta, which required the use of two cranes.
The operational team from the E-REDES Algarve Maintenance Area was responsible for coordinating and carrying out the lowering and re-establishing of the existing low-voltage lines at the locations where the operation took place, in order to enable the work to be carried out in total safety.
Taking advantage of the presence and action of E-REDES, the owners of the adjoining land cleaned the vegetation around the houses in the urbanization.
