The EUniversal project, funded by the European Union, aims to develop a universal approach to the use of flexibility by Network Operators and interaction with the new Flexibility Markets, including the development of the concept of the Universal Market Enabling Interface (UMEI) - a set of application rules in different contexts and in different countries, which represents an innovative, agnostic, adaptable, modular and evolutionary approach that will be the basis for the development of new business approaches, market solutions and, above all, guaranteeing the mechanisms for active participation of Consumers.
