Portugal submitted 63 abstracts for the CIRED 2021 conference, placing itself as one of the 40 countries with the highest number of proposals (6th), 43 of which have EDP Distribuição as their first author, which continued to ensure internal and external transversal participation, with co-authors in many other papers, submitted by other companies of the group, industrial partners, institutes, academia and similar companies.
This result is yet another demonstration of the resilience and delivery of EDP Distribuição in the "new normal", instigated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the involvement of more than 20 partners and more than 100 employees, this record shows that EDP Distribuição develops its work at the forefront of science and technology, is focused on sharing and developing its know-how through multidisciplinary partnerships and that we work together better.
We are therefore expecting the result of the assessment of the Technical Committee of CIRED, to be announced on 17 November 2020, which we hope will take this work to the deserved stage in Geneva, Switzerland, on 21-24 June 2021.
