Taking into account the situation of the fires in the central zone of the country, in compliance with that defined in point 3.4 of the POAC-RD - Operational Plan for Operation in Crisis in the Distribution Network, EDP Distribuição declared the activation of the STATE of ALERT from 00h01 of 27-07-2020 in the following areas:
Serra da Estrela;
Portalegre.
The Company has acted in close collaboration with the competent entities, namely with the Civil Protection in order to collaborate in the necessary works in the areas affected by the fires.
During the last few days, EDP Distribuição's teams have been working in the field at the affected locations, in close liaison with the entities present at the site.
This state of Alert is in force until further notice.
