This edition highlighted the importance of technology as an accelerator of innovation for economic development and improving the quality of life of citizens. Through conferences, exhibitions, business meetings, education promotion activities, in particular STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) skills, and a strengthened gaming area, this was a space for debate on the most innovation and technology.
EDP Distribuição was present at the event through an innovative stand and as one of the partner companies in the "Aveiro Urban Challenges" initiative, where the kick off of the challenge was presented by Belarmino Coutinho from the Porto Network and Concessions Department.
This program is open to startups, scaleups and R&D centers, with the five winners having a prize of € 20,000 each.
