On October 28th, EDP Distribuição inaugurated the new building in Caldas da Rainha, in a ceremony attended by João Marques da Cruz (Director of EDP's Executive Board of Directors), João Torres (Chairman of the Board of Directors of EDP Distribuição) and Fernando Tinta Ferreira (Mayor of Caldas da Rainha).
The building, intended for administrative services, has a total area of about 6,500 m2 and houses 77 company employees. Designed by architect João Cassiano Santos, the building is more modern and more energy efficient, improving the thermal insulation of the building and adapting solar systems for both water heating and self-consumption energy production through the installation. of a photovoltaic solar system with 144 panels.
