EDP Distribuição accepted the invitation by associating the campaign with a set of initiatives already in progress related to the theme, thus reinforcing the investment and work carried out in the field of power grid safety and the protection and protection of the forest heritage.
In addition to the renewal of the Secondary Network of Fuel Management Tracks, EDP Distribuição, which manages 68,000 km of overhead lines (of which more than 28,000 km in forest areas) has invested a total of 72 million euros in last 11 years for the protection and protection of the forest heritage, of which 11 million euros refer to 2019.
