Christmas has arrived at Lisbon Zoo

There was much joy and happiness on December 1 when Santa arrived at Lisbon Zoo. EDP Distribuição brought 20 young people from the New Future Association to spend a day full of surprises with Santa and about 2,000 animals.

On this special day, the children visited Santa's grotto, where they were photographed with Santa Claus and got to write a letter saying what they wanted for Christmas that was sent straight to the North Pole.

To finish the day in the best way possible, at 5.30pm EDP Distribuição helped switch on the Christmas tree lights.

Next Monday, December 10, EDP Distribuição will do it all again and take the Christmas spirit to the children of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Almada PIA I Community Center, who will be able to enjoy all the special Christmas activities taking place at the zoo.

Santa's Grotto will be open to the public from 2.30pm to 6pm on December 8, 9, 15, and 16.

Visit Lisbon Zoo and enjoy the activities provided for you and your family by EDP Distribuição and the zoo!
