Yesterday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EDP Distribuição - João Torres - visited the sites to learn about the evolution of the work of rebuilding the low voltage grid and to closely monitor the teams that have been ensuring the continuity of these works since the afternoon of Saturday. It was also an opportunity to take stock with local councillors of Figueiró dos Vinhos, Castanheira de Pera and Pedrogão Grande, with whom he met during the afternoon.
The support of the local parish councils was assured in the identification of sporadic cases of homes with connections to the electricity grid still damaged. EDP Distribuição was also been mobilized into the civil protection structures located in Arganil and Coimbra.
