The prize was awarded by the IACEE (International Association for Continuing Engineering Education), a non-governmental and non-profit organization that supports training, practice and continuous improvement in engineering, searching for models worldwide that can be replicated.
The Award for Corporate Leadership in Continuing Engineering Education was received by João Torres, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EDP Distribuição, during the 15th World Conference of Continuing Engineering Education held in Porto, at Porto Business School, from 17 to 20 May.
