E-REDES invests 95 thousand euros in Lamego Hospital's Heliport airlines

Assets renovated with beaconing for the start-up of the Lamego Hospital heliport.

E-REDES invested more than 95,000 euros in the beaconing of two air lines at the Lamego Hospital Heliport. Following a request from the Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (CHTMAD), two aerial lines were beaconed (LN LAMEGO - TAROUCA and LN LAMEGO - ALMODAFA), with day and night beaconing, one of the lines being under the main approach channel (197 meters and 3 poles) and the other on the outer side of the alternative approach channel (530 meters and 4 poles). It was also necessary to refurbish the existing assets to provide them with the conditions for the beacon.

This beaconing was a mandatory requirement for obtaining authorization to use the Heliport, so the investment made will have a major impact on improving the Quality of Service for the people served by the Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.

This project was made possible thanks to the involvement and collaboration of Pedro Cunha from CHTMAD, the Lamego GNR, NORSCUT, EGIS, ANAC, EMFA and PROEF, who proactively contributed to the success of the work, ensuring that all the safety conditions were in place.
