E-REDES was distinguished in the National Sustainability Award, 2022 edition, with the project "20 Years of Protection of Avifauna in the Distribution Network".

The project aimed to commemorate the two decades of the Program celebrated through protocols between the company and its partners, including government entities and NGOs. 

Over the last 20 years, the company has been actively working to mitigate the impact of the overhead power grid on birdlife, especially on protected species. Among the measures implemented, highlight goes to the correction of 1,178 km of HV and MV network, with solutions for the protection of avifauna in classified areas and the establishment of nine avifauna protocols.
